Hi! I'm David.
As I passed by the homeless person on the sidewalk, I felt the weight of poverty press down upon me. I was him. This was my future. As I walked by, I heard a clear voice in my head, “What are you going to do to change you?”
I was five when my father suddenly and mysteriously died. Ever since, I have been on a journey of finding a hero, graduating with high honors in communication, working in corporate leadership, acting on stage and film, even earning membership in the Screen Actors Guild.
However, those accomplishments didn’t stop me from facing deep depression and self doubt as I faced near homelessness. Something inside me had to change. Thus began my journey that led me to A Culture of Us™. Through years of exploration, study, mentorship, and personal experience, I learned that the path through life hardest moments are personal wellness, vulnerability, and connection.
A Culture of Us™ is about fostering a culture where connecting is not just valued, but encouraged. A culture where teams and leaders bridge the gap toward understanding and empathy. A culture where “You” and “Me” become “We”. A Culture of Us™.
Since that pivotal moment I have been around the world helping international businesses, governments, non-profits, and associations create A Culture of Us™.
My approach combines storytelling, research, and coaching experience to help organizations turn challenges into opportunity, bridge communication gaps, and cultivate cultures where every voice is heard.
